Be smart - don't buy from an out-of-state puppy mill or pet store (they buy from puppy mills).
Buy from someone trying to breed the next great show dog! We health test our dogs and socialize the puppies. And we'd like to stay in touch with you, after your purchase, so we can know how our little ones are doing.
You should expect to pay between $2000 to $3500 for a puppy (older dogs are sometimes offered for less.)
Raising beautiful litters is an expensive proposition, but in the long run, you'll pay no more from a reputable hobby/show breeder.
